Susan G Komen

A father-daughter dual-video storytelling experience

The Susan G Komen foundation’s “More Than Pink” campaign identified inspirational figures and elevated their stories to refocus the brand movement.

This experience tells the story of father and daughter breast cancer survivors, Vanessa and Arnaldo. They were diagnosed around the same time, had treatments at the same time, and are now survivors who do speaking tours to help women and men remember to get tested.

We wanted to tell their story in a way that was as intertwined as their journey was, with a dual video slider experience.

Messaging with purpose

The storytelling helped draw attention to key statistics specific to overlooked demographics like African-American women and men who may not have previously known that they too could get breast cancer.
